 Fall Sessions will take place @ Deer Lakes High School Pool
Cost is $60 for eight ½ hour sessions (cash or check made payable to DLAC)

DLAC is pleased to announce the dates for the Fall Learn to Swim Program!

An evaluation session will take place at Deer Lakes High School pool on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 7:30-8:30pm. The participants will be split into two 1/2-hour evaluation sessions on September 8th. Lessons will take place on Thursdays and Saturdays and will be 1/2-hour sessions based upon the level the child is assigned to. Listed below are the dates for the Fall sessions:

(sessions will run 7-7:30 & 7:30-8 on Thurs. and 11:45-12:15 & 12:15-12:45 on Sat.)

Swimmers will be separated into 3 different levels based upon the initial evaluation. There will only be approximately 110 children accepted into the lessons to keep the  number of swimmers to instructors at a level that is safe and effective for learning. Sign up is first come, first serve via postal mail and registrations are due by September 2nd, 2010.

Learning to swim with DLAC,
the rewards are many....
    Each child is assessed and placed at a learning level suited to them.
    Ages 3 and up welcome...must be toilet trained.
    Instills water readiness in the very newest beginner swimmers.
    Teaches primary skills, basic stokes and diving.
    Further skill development and stroke refinement.
    Builds self confidence at all swimming levels.
    Certificate of course completion.
    Any comfortable swim suit will do!
    Plenty of room for Grandma & Grandpa to watch from the bleachers.
    Busy all the time?....1-5 kids and still one drop off for Mom or Dad.
    Swimming is wonderful exercise.
    Plant the seed for a life long love of swimming and physical activity.
